Modern School celebrates its annual day amidst glitterati and jubilation

The Modern School ECNCR Delhi in Rajiv Gandhi Education City Kundli, organised its Second Annual Day on November, 2015- a magnificent event which saw little bundles of joy celebrating their achievements and showcasing their talents on the picturesque school lawns.

The grand occasion, encouraged the students with giving away awards to the most talented achievers of the last academic year and simultaneously provided an opportunity to
all the students to showcase their talents. 

The enchanting event opened with lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest Lt. Gen Shankar Prasad and Saraswati Vandana, sung by the most proficient kids of the school’s musical group in their mesmerizing chorus that left the audience spell bound.

Inaugurating the celebration, Lt. Gen Shankar Prasad, appreciated the conducive learning environment and excellent infrastructure of The Modern School, ECNCR Delhi and congratulated the students’ effort on putting up a grand show on their second annual celebration event.
Ms. Abha Sadana, Prinicipal, The Modern School ECNCR Delhi presented the welcome address and greeted the students, their parents, various dignitaries and the huge gathering of students, their parents and general visitors attending the cheerful occasion. The dignitaries of Platinum Edu Trust also graced the occasion.

On the occasion, Ms. Sadana read out the school’s annual report and highlighted the prominent achievements of the school during the last academic year in scholastic and co-scholastic areas and reiterated the importance of parental engagement in partnership with the school. She emphasized, “Together we can create an environment of engaging learning that fosters curiosity in students with encouraging their desire to learn.”

Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh, President, Board of Trustees, Modern Schools said that through our schools we seek to nurture students with innovation and ability to think differently with rational creativity and appreciation of sustainable socio-culture values, so that they can lead a meaningful life of achievements, in continuation of the spirit and ethos engendered in Modern Schools from 1920 onwards.

The grandeur of the celebration was astounding and it truly reflected the rich heritage and culture of Modern School. The enthralling second annual day carnival was followed by a cultural program in the evening. The cultural extravaganza showcased the bedazzling performances by the talented student’s of the school. The second edition of the school’s annual magazine “Prayas” was also released at the occasion.

The giving away of the annual awards was graced by the chief guest Lt. Gen Shankar Prasad who also inaugurated an Art Exhibition organized simultaneously with the event in the evening.  The annual day concluded on a high note with vote of thanks rendered by Ms. Neelam Puri, Director, The Modern School, ECNCR Delhi.
