Music and Dance Festival on Contribution of Indian Classical Music and Dance

Saniddhya (A cultural Society) organize “Classical Music & Dance Festival & Seminar”- A Contribution of Indian Classical Music & Dance in Indian Cinema at Palika Park, CP New Delhi on 4th & 5th February 2016.  The programme was began with memorable performance by kathak dancer shikha khare on old and new songs of bollywood which is based on classical music
and dance.

On first day of festival, Audience was witnessed, A Group Presentation of Saniddhya by Young artists, Solo Performance by Ms. Shikha Khare Kathak exponent and disciple of Kathak Maestro Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj Ji, SUFI DIVINE Qawwali Group, Mrs. Manju Wazir Dance Group, Solo Performance by Ms. Khayti kalia kathak exponent, A Group Dance performance by Sushmita Kanjilal, Maa Saraswati Music & Dance Academy group performance.

Kathak exponent shikha khare captivate the audience  by her performance on all time hit classical songs of bollywood. She enchant the audience by her performance on the songs of film pakija Mughal-e- azam from old era and also enthralled  the audience by her performance on new era songs like Mar dala of Devdas songs od new movie- dedh isqia.


Mr. Kamal Kumar, Secretary of “Saniddhya  informed that On 5th Feb 2016, the event will be witnessed, A Group Dance performance by Shadja Foundation, Solo & Trio Dance Presentation by Saniddhya Repertory Artists, A Group Dance performance by Dharohar academy, Bollywood Classic Singing Performance by Mrs. Manaya, A Dance Presentation by Ms. Lekha Sharma, A Group Dance performance by Nritya Bharti Kalapeeth, A melody singing performance by Vishuddh Band.Mr. Kamal Kumar, said, since 2000 “Saniddhya” is working for Promoting Indian Art & Culture as well as working for Social Issues through Art & Culture.  “Saniddhya” Society works for social causes like Environmental Issues, Women Empowerment, Child Labour, Girl Child Issues etc and it also works for Underprivileged children. This Society Organizes Seminars, Workshops and Festivals for Indian Classical Music & Dance.
