Tarun Sarda’s ambition and obsession led him to conquer his dreams. It started at the age of 19 as a Vintage Advertising in 1987 – 92 providing PR and creative designing service to clients. His out of the box ideas resulted in the agency business growing 70 % year on year for 5 years straight. In 1992 he went solo with a seed capital Rs 5000. He did not require funds- since most of the initial work was design ads and catalogs, where work was started only
on receipt of advance payments, the very first year the turnover came as Rs. 10 lakhs.
In 1998 adorned an entirely new form and donned the mantle of Vintage Publications and published his first magazine. Today both the magazines Celebrating Vivaha and Timeless Jewels have carved their own niche. Seeing the success of these magazines and the response of the public to the road shows held, launched the first Vivaha exhibition in 2003 in Delhi, Timeless Jewels in 2004. In the initial years the footfalls of 25,000 visitors (numbers unheard of in those days) which resulted in redefining the exhibition market in the capital. In future years the same happened in the main metropolis cities where similar visitor numbers made participants and guests sit up and take notice of the youngest kid on the block.
Thus was born Vivaha Luxury Homes – a specialized exhibition on high-end interiors. Seeing the unparalleled growth of the wedding industry and the various categories that have mushroomed from the same, Tarun Sarda launched Vivaha Pre-Wedding Solutions – an exhibition for the back-end service providers for weddings.
Today, Tarun Sarda is the man behind some of the most recognized and well attended exhibitions that take place in various parts of the country – Celebrating Vivaha, Timeless Jewels, Vivaha Luxury Homes, Vivaha Pre-Wedding Solutions and LIFE (the Lifestyle, Indulgence and fashion exposition). In 2012 they witnessed another milestone in the exhibition industry, the launch of VIVAHA ELITE slated to be INDIA’s first LUXURY BRIDAL EXHIBITION. They have now spread their wings in the International market and up with exhibitions in New Jersey, Dubai and etc.
The exhibitions are now a well recognized brand in their respective segments as the visionary saw the need for specialized exhibitions.
