HIMCOM Welcomes New Batch of Journalism Students with a Grand Induction Ceremony

Heritage Institute of Management and Communication (HIMCOM) hosted a grand induction ceremony at the ISKCON Auditorium to welcome its new batch of journalism students. The event witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from diverse fields, making the occasion truly inspirational for the budding media professionals.


Distinguished guests included Shri K.G. Suresh, Director, India Habitat Centre; Shri Ranjeet Singh, Senior Bureaucrat and Secretary, Delhi Vidhan Sabha; Justice (Retd.) Sakha Ram, Former Judge, Allahabad High Court; Shri Tilak Raj Kakkar, Former Commissioner of Delhi Police; among other dignitaries who graced the event.

Addressing the students, Shri K.G. Suresh highlighted the crucial role of media in nation-building. He said, “Media is not just about reporting facts, but about shaping narratives that strengthen democracy and contribute to the holistic development of society. The responsibility of future journalists lies in upholding truth, ethics, and public interest.”
