The Brand Trust Report, the sixth in its series, is the result of a comprehensive primary research conducted on the proprietary 61-Attribute Trust Matrix of TRA (formerly known as Trust Research Advisory). This year’s study involved 18000 hours of fieldwork covering 2500 consumer-influencers across 16 cities in India and generated 6 million datapoints and 20,000 unique brands from which the top 1000 brands have been listed in this year’s report. The 200 page, hardbound report is available for Rs. 14000/-. The North zone cities include Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur and Indore, covering nearly 24% of all the respondents.

N. Chandramouli, CEO, TRA, said on the occasion of the report’s launch, "This year Delhi-based brands have fared poorly in the North zone with only Lava and Intex showing an improvement from last year's rankings. Brands like MDH, Haldiram, Bikano, Usha Fans have seen a drastic fall in their ranks. Another five Delhi-based brands namely Bikaji, ChokhiDhani, Maxima Watches, Jindal Steel and Bikanervala have made an exit from North India's 100 Most Trusted Brands."

The North zone features some new faces as category leaders; Bajaj replaces Tata (Diversified), Maruti Suzuki replaces Honda (Automobile), HDFC Bank replaces ICICI (BFSI), Olx.in replaces Google (Internet) and Arrow replaces Raymond (Apparel), he added.
