TUI India appoints Vishal Sinha as COO

TUI Travel India, a part of TUI Travel PLC – one of the world’s leading leisure travel groups has appointed industry veteran Vishal Sinha as its new Chief Operating Officer. With a career experience span of almost two decades of experience, Vishal has an extensive international portfolio in the airline and travel sector.

In his new role as the Chief Operation
Officer, Vishal will be responsible for setting the strategic direction as well as developing and delivering business growth for TUI in India.   

Vishal started his career with British Airways in India as a management trainee and in his distinguished tenure of 19 years with the company rose to his last rank of General Manager for the Japan & Korea region.

In his years at British Airways, Vishal has worked in numerous roles of marketing, distribution and strategy, gathering knowledge and expertise. In his last role he was instrumental in launching new routes to Seoul, Islamabad, Shanghai amongst others.

Speaking on his appointment Vishal said, “I am a firm believer of the fact that you have to constantly innovate and change to be ahead of the competition and be the customers’ first choice. I am thrilled to be a part of TUI and look forward to working with the team to introduce innovative holiday experiences and setting a quality benchmark in the industry.”

TUI India was officially formed in the year 2006 as a result of a 50:50 joint partnership between Le Passage to India, the No.1 inbound destination management company and TUI Travel PLC, the world’s leading leisure travel company.
