Collector Edition of Organiser and Panchjanya released

RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi released the Collector Editions of leading national weeklies Organiser and Panchjanya in New Delh on Tuesday. The function was organized at Sirifort Auditorium on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.

Bhaiyaji Joshi said calling Bahasaheb as the leader of just a particular section of the society is insult to that Maha-manav Babasaheb was the leader of the entire nation and a nationalist to the core. He certainly raised the issues of Dalits, but nation was
always supreme for him. The issues of Dalits that he raised were also genuine and some of them still exist in our society. It is the collective responsibility of the entire society to address those issues, he said. Applauding the initiative taken by Organiser and Panchjanya to bring in light the hitherto unhighlighted facts about the great personality.

He said both Babasaheb and Dr Hedgewar were contemporary and both fought for the cause of the nation.

Noted economist and former member of the Planning Commission Dr Narendra Jadhav highlighted various facts about Dr Ambedkar life. He said Dr Ambedkar was a leading economist and scholar. The issues that he raised during his study period or thereafter are regarded as foundation and are still debated and discussed. He raised those issues when nobody was talking about them. He was a national leader and referring him to be the leader of just Dalits is injustice to that great personality.

He said the initiative that Organiser and Panchjanya have collectively taken must be taken
forward and the contribution of Babasaheb to the national reconstruction must be brought to the notice of the entire nation. Baba Saheb 125 birth anniversary is an opportunity for the nation and the countrymen to recognise and recall his contribution, he added.

Organiser editor Prafulla Ketkar said Babasaheb was a great journalist and his journalism career from Mooknayak to Prabuddha Bharat was dedicated to the national cause.

Panchjanya editor Shri Hitesh Shankar said the special issues of both the newspapers carry articles highlighting various aspects of Ambedkar life and the aspects have been discussed by scholars and experts. The issues carry 27 articles. The prominent authors include RSS Sahsarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal, Shri Ramesh Patange, Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni, Shri Bhaigaiyaji, Dr Narendra Jadhav, Dr Savarna Rawal, Dr Sushma Yadav, etc.

Bharat Prakashan Managing Director Vijay Kumar proposed a vote thanks. Many union ministers and intellectual were also present on the occasion.
