Healthy Summer Salad Recipe

Pita Pit, the healthy Canadian quick service chain, is now in India to encourage and give healthy eating options to our patrons. The brand is already running three outlets in Delhi-NCR (GK-1,  Cyber Hub & Select Citywalk). This particular restaurant will have a new café style format, with a lot of fresh elements added to their menu.

made-to-order pita sandwiches. You can choose from a wide range of fresh vegetables, grilled meats, premium spreads and cheeses, along with zesty sauces –all rolled into a unique and convenient package. You can opt for the health-conscious, yet indulgent, gourmet sandwich or the Pita Pit fork-style (salad).

Salad Name: Hearty & Healthy  salad

Ingredients
- Turkey Ham slice - 40 grams (For Non Vegetarians)
- Iceberg Lettuce - 50 grams
- Tomatoes  - 30 grams
- Black Olives – 10 grams
- Green Olives – 10 grams
- Cucumber - 15 grams
- Vinaigrette - 20 grams
- Crumbled feta cheese - 10 grams
- Hummus on the side - 30 grams
- Salt and pepper

Start with a bed of iceberg lettuce. Add some sliced tomatoes, black olives, green olives & cucumber.  Toss it all together. Add the turkey ham slices ( for Non Vegetarians) with crumbled feta cheese for the cheese lovers and some light vinaigrette. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Ready to serve.

Optional - side serving of hummus.
