Urban Desi Conference in New York

Twenty prolific musicians will be throwing light on the growing influence of Urban Indian Music in a 2 day conference on on March 24 and 25 in the tri-state area.

Urban Desi Conference and Concert 2016 (UDC) is sponsored by India.com, and supported by Urban Asian, NY Dreams, and Brown Girl Magazine, will feature
performers such as Mickey Singh, Raxstar, Raghav, Amar Sandhu, The PropheC, Kay V Singh, DJ Ice, DJ Upside Down, Pranna, Rubal, Armaan Ali and many more. The conference and concert will also be powered by Zing and Saavn.

Celebrity Stylist, Sachi Singh from New Delhi will be one of the panelists in the conference, talking about the Influence of Style & Fashion in Music. “An artist who acts as an influencer is a source of style inspiration to millions of his/her fans. Lady Gaga made waves as much for her unique style identity as she did for her music. An artist is like a brand with certain qualities and aesthetics that are reflected in how he/she dresses up” says Sachi Singh.

Sachi has been creating unique style identities for various singers. Her forte lies in connecting a right brand image with the artist which later translates into brand identity. Before taking up any style project she does a thorough research into the demographics and influencer base of the artist and his personal fashion statement. She will also be styling two lucky audience members during the conference.

On March 24, an exclusive conference will take place at Mint Li  Garden City, New York followed by the concert with all the artists at B.B. King in Times Square the next day.
