BharatPe Launches Zillion Rewards, Industry-Leading UPI Loyalty Program Offering Unmatched Incentives on Every Transaction

BharatPe, India's leading financial services and UPI payments company, today announced the launch of Zillion Rewards on its BharatPe UPI App. This innovative loyalty program allows consumers to earn

Zillion Coins on all qualified UPI transactions. In particular, transactions made using RuPay Credit Cards via the BharatPe UPI App unlock some of the most rewarding benefits across the industry, making it an attractive proposition for consumers.

Zillion, one of India's largest multi-brand loyalty programs, enables users to accumulate Zillion Coins instantly upon completing eligible transactions. These coins can be redeemed as virtual cash across an extensive network of Zillion-affiliated online merchants and services, covering a wide array of categories.

The Zillion Rewards program is thoughtfully designed with a user-first approach, offering a seamless and rewarding experience on the BharatPe UPI App. At its core is a transparent earning mechanism—users receive guaranteed Zillion Coins on every qualified transaction, without the ambiguity of “up to” rewards or the uncertainty of scratch cards. Zillion coins can also be seamlessly redeemed at over 10 million merchants within the BharatPe network, offering users broad and convenient value across the ecosystem. They can also be used to purchase vouchers of prominent brands, buy various products or make utility payments.

The program supports a wide range of transaction types, including Peer-to-Peer (P2P), Peer-to-Merchant (P2M), and RuPay Credit Card (RCC) payments, ensuring broad accessibility. To further incentivize usage, bonus rewards are provided for payments made via BharatPe QR codes and through RuPay Credit Cards. All earned coins are instantly credited to the user’s Zillion account, offering real-time gratification. Moreover, customers linking their Rupay Credit Card on BharatPe UPI will enjoy additional rewards on top of the existing rewards from their card issuer.

The program also maintains clear minimum transaction thresholds—INR 50 for UPI transactions using Savings or Current Accounts, and INR 2,000 for payments made via RuPay Credit Cards—ensuring that everyday spending is both simple and rewarding. Another key advantage of Zillion coins is that their value stays consistent, unlike many other reward programs where the value often changes—making them simpler and more reliable for users.

Kohinoor Biswas, Head – Consumer Business at BharatPe, said, “We are offering more than just a loyalty program. It’s our way of rewarding the customer every time they choose to pay with BharatPe UPI App. The structure is simple, the rewards are transparent, and the redemption options are available online and also at a BharatPe merchant store near you. We’re confident this will encourage more meaningful engagement on our platform.”

Zillion recently announced a partnership with PayU Payment Gateway, further expanding the reach and utility of the Zillion Coins ecosystem. As part of this collaboration, customers will be able to earn and redeem Zillion Coins when transacting with merchants integrated with PayU’s payment gateway.
