54 Families Receive Safe, Permanent Homes Through Max Estates–Habitat for Humanity India Partnership

Max Estates Limited, a leading real estate developer in the NCR region, in partnership with housing non-profit Habitat for Humanity India, has successfully completed the second phase of its affordable housing initiative in Haryana’s Rewari district. Under this phase, 29 newly constructed homes were handed over

to families in Bhudla village. Along with the 25 homes delivered earlier in Aakera village, the initiative has now provided safe and permanent housing to 54 families.

Aligned with Max Estates’ LiveWell philosophy, the project aims to create healthier, more secure and fulfilling living environments for underserved communities.

The completion of the second phase was marked by a handover ceremony attended by homeowners, village representatives, and teams from both organisations. The event celebrated not only the delivery of new homes but also the stability, dignity, and opportunities they bring to families.

Access to secure housing with improved sanitation, ventilation, and natural light is expected to significantly enhance health, hygiene, and overall well-being. Better kitchen infrastructure supports safer food preparation, while adequate lighting creates a conducive environment for children’s education. Together, these improvements provide a strong foundation for long-term family stability and economic progress.

Sharing his views, Vachan Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Max Estates Limited, said, “At Max Estates, our commitment to Sevabhav—the spirit of service—guides everything we do. We believe that access to safe and adequate housing is fundamental to human dignity. Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity India, we are proud to extend our LiveWell philosophy beyond our developments and into communities that need it most. The confidence and sense of ownership we see among these families reaffirm our belief that purpose-driven partnerships can truly transform lives.”

Commenting on the milestone, Anand Kumar Bolimera, National Director, Habitat for Humanity India, said, “The smiles and renewed sense of hope we see as families step into their new homes inspire us to continue our mission of building homes, communities, and hope. Each home represents resilience, dignity, and opportunity for a better future. This project demonstrates the powerful impact of collective action guided by a shared vision for social good. We are grateful to Max Estates for this partnership and to the community for allowing us to serve.”

The initiative underscores the role of collaboration between the private sector and social organisations in delivering sustainable, community-driven solutions through affordable housing.
