New Delhi: US-headquartered AI-native engineering firm Aziro Technologies LLC has announced its entry into the Japanese market as part of its global expansion plans.
The company has set up the Aziro Japan Preparation Office in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. It has also appointed Mitsutaka Inamine as Country Manager for Japan.
The move comes as the company reports 20 per cent year-on-year growth. Aziro said the growth is driven by rising demand from enterprises for AI-led modernization and intelligent product engineering.
The expansion will be supported by Aziro’s global delivery model, with India serving as a key engineering and innovation hub. The company said its India-led network enables scalable AI-native development, modernization and platform engineering programs for global clients.
Japan’s entry comes at a time when businesses there are facing what is known as the “2025 Cliff.” The term was highlighted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) to describe economic and operational risks caused by aging legacy systems and a shortage of advanced IT talent.
Many Japanese companies are now seeking global engineering partnerships to modernize systems while managing costs and execution risks.
Aziro currently serves global enterprises, independent software vendors and high-growth technology firms through delivery centers in the United States, India, Singapore and Australia. It also works with infrastructure technology leaders and several Fortune 500 companies in the US.
Commenting on the expansion, Sanjay Sehgal, CEO of Aziro, said, “Japan is at a decisive inflection point as enterprises look to modernize legacy platforms while facing a tightening skilled-talent environment. Our entry into Japan reflects a long-term commitment to partner with enterprises and system integrators to accelerate modernization and responsible AI adoption. With our India-led global delivery model, we are able to bring deep engineering capability, speed, and cost-efficient scale to complex transformation programs.”
Mitsutaka Inamine, Country Manager, Japan, Aziro, said, “Japanese enterprises are under increasing pressure to modernize critical systems without disrupting business continuity. Aziro brings a differentiated combination of AI-native engineering expertise and globally distributed delivery strength, including deep India-based engineering capabilities. Our focus will be to work closely with Japanese customers and system integrators to deliver practical, measurable modernization outcomes.”
Aziro specializes in AI-driven legacy modernization and AI-native product engineering. The company helps enterprises convert legacy systems into cloud-ready and AI-enabled platforms. It also integrates generative AI and data intelligence into core business workflows to reduce technical debt and improve agility.
To address operational challenges and rising infrastructure costs, Aziro offers AI-powered autonomous operations and AIOps frameworks. These services focus on predictive maintenance, automated incident response and continuous system optimization, especially for companies with limited in-house engineering teams.
The company’s global talent model includes Offshore Development Centers, dedicated engineering labs and specialized project teams, drawing heavily from India’s engineering talent pool across AI, data, cloud and platform engineering.
Through its Japan Preparation Office, Aziro will initially focus on large enterprises, domestic system integrators and Japanese subsidiaries of global corporations with urgent modernization and AI adoption needs. The company plans to set up a formal legal entity in Japan in the near future.
Aziro, formerly known as MSys Technologies, positions itself as an AI-native product engineering firm helping global enterprises build resilient and intelligent digital systems.
