India Wins Clash Royale Gold at Global Esports Games Mumbai Finals

Global Esports Games concluded in Mumbai with India delivering a strong performance, clinching gold in Clash Royale and bronze in DOTA 2. The event saw participation from top international players, with a

packed arena witnessing high-intensity matches and global competition.

India’s Anuhith Gosala emerged as the standout performer, defeating Kazakhstan’s Miras 3-2 in a closely fought Clash Royale final. The Indian player had earlier secured his spot in the grand finale by beating the USA 2-1 in the lower bracket finals, bouncing back after a 0-2 loss to Kazakhstan in the upper bracket.

In DOTA 2, India settled for bronze after losing to Mongolia in the lower bracket finals. Meanwhile, Türkiye secured gold by defeating Mongolia 3-1 in the grand finale, showcasing dominant gameplay throughout the tournament.

Sharing his thoughts on the victory, Team India’s Clash Royale gold medallist, Anuhith Gosala, said, “This moment is surreal. To win the Grand Finals here in India, in front of a home crowd, makes it even more emotional. The preparation was relentless, the pressure was intense, and every match tested my limits but that’s what makes this victory so special. Organised by Eflag Corp and the Global Esports Federation with support from Maharashtra Tourism, the tournament featured 48 athletes from 19 countries. The successful conclusion in Mumbai now sets the stage for the next edition, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles later this year.
