Runaya Ranked Among Top 7% Globally in S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment Debut
Mumbai: Runaya Metsource (“Runaya”), a Vedanta Group company focused on circular economy solutions and critical metal recovery, has been ranked among the top 7% globally in its first S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) Fundamental. The recognition reflects the company’s
performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices within its aluminum recovery operations.Runaya was assessed for its Aluminum Recovery Business, achieving a 93rd percentile score and ranking among the top 11 companies out of 162 global peers evaluated in the Commercial Services & Supplies category. The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is considered one of the most widely recognized global benchmarks for evaluating corporate sustainability performance, examining how companies identify, manage and disclose material ESG risks and opportunities across economic, environmental and social dimensions.
Globally, circularity and the recovery of critical metals are gaining increasing importance as industries seek more sustainable pathways for growth.
