After revolutionising the world of real estate and the electronic and print media, Shri Group announced the launch of Shri World– an upscale general interest, current and social affairs monthly publication in Hindi.
Mr. Rajendra Bahadur Singh, who has been heading Shri Media Ventures since 2011, will be the Editor of the magazine. Known for his sharp sense of news and neutrality, he comes with a rich journalistic experience
of 27 years with leading publications such as Dainik Bhaskar, Swatantra Bharat, Hindustan, Jansatta Express, Aaj, Rashtriya Sahara etc.
The magazine will initially be circulated in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and has plans to expand its circulation to other states in the next two years.
Shri World will cover many areas including social, political, economics, sports, youth, women, health, literature, international affairs, employment, entertainment, food, lifestyle, religion and festivals among others.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Manoj Dwivedi, Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Group said, “We are living in extraordinary times where people are losing faith in the three pillars of democracy. Under these circumstances, the media needs to take up the bigger responsibility of taking the people of our country from darkness to enlightenment. We, through Shri News channel, Shri Times - a daily newspaper - and Awami Nazar - an Urdu daily, have been contributing our bit towards that end. Now, “Shri World” will also carry forward that mission.”
