Visit California outreach program 2015

Visit California continued its outreach program as part of the Brand USA ‘DiscoverAmerica’ Educational Seminars for travel agents.

The seminars which were held in Mumbai on 11th February, Pune on 12th February, Ahemdabad on 13th February and New Delhi on 4th March, witnessed increased networking with travel trade

The seminars are aimed at providing an interactive platform for the travel agents to find information on the Golden State. The Dream Big video, a part of Visit California new branding initiative was also shared with partners along with an interactive presentation on the destination.

In an impressive turn-around, over 500 agents from major travel and MICE agencies attended the educational seminars and training sessions held across these four cities.

According to Visit California, travel and tourism expenditures total $109.6 billion annually in California, support jobs for 965,800 Californians and generate $7.1 billion in state and local tax revenues.
