Masai, IIM Ranchi Launch Executive Analytics, AI Programme

Masai and Indian Institute of Management Ranchi have partnered to launch a six-month online Executive Certificate Programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence starting March 14, 2026, targeting freshers and mid-career professionals seeking data-driven managerial capabilities amid rising enterprise AI adoption.

Key Highlights:
*Six-month fully online Executive Certificate Programme begins March 14, 2026
*Focus on business analytics, AI deployment, leadership applications
*Open to freshers, working professionals, entrepreneurs, and managers
*Industry-linked projects across banking, retail, operations, digital sectors
*Executive certificate awarded by IIM Ranchi upon successful completion

The programme is being introduced at a time when artificial intelligence is increasingly embedded into enterprise decision-making and operational systems. According to Deloitte’s AI Report 2024, nearly 80 percent of global business leaders view AI as a key competitive differentiator in the coming years. Industry projections from MarketsandMarkets estimate that the global AI in business analytics market will reach $16.5 billion by 2027, reflecting sustained corporate investments in automation, predictive intelligence, and data infrastructure.

Designed for learners from both technology and non-technology backgrounds, the curriculum covers the full analytics lifecycle—from business problem identification and data management to predictive modelling and AI-led decision systems. Participants will receive hands-on exposure to SQL, Python, statistical methods, machine learning, and frameworks for responsible AI deployment and data governance. The programme also integrates structured business storytelling and industry-contextual case studies to align analytics expertise with leadership decision-making.

Prateek Shukla, CEO and Co-Founder of Masai, said, “We are seeing a structural shift in how companies evaluate managerial talent. Across BFSI, consulting, consumer internet and manufacturing, analytics and AI are no longer specialist functions but core to business planning, risk management and growth strategy. This partnership with IIM Ranchi allows us to bring together academic depth and industry-relevant execution to build managers who can work confidently with data, question assumptions, and lead technology-driven change inside organisations.”

Amit Sachan, Professor, Operations Management and Dean (Executive Education & Consultancy), IIM Ranchi, added, “Management education today must go beyond functional expertise. Managers are increasingly expected to interpret complex datasets, engage with AI-led systems and translate analytical output into strategic decisions. This programme has been structured to develop that intersection of quantitative understanding and leadership judgement, enabling participants to contribute meaningfully to boardroom discussions and operational outcomes.”

The cohort-based programme is calibrated for working professionals, requiring an estimated commitment of 8–10 hours per week. It is open to a wide range of learners, including technology professionals transitioning into managerial roles, non-technical professionals seeking analytics fluency, entrepreneurs leveraging data for growth, and students or early-career professionals aspiring to enter business analytics domains. Eligibility requires candidates to have completed at least Class 12 education.

Upon successful completion of assessments, participants will receive an Executive Certificate from IIM Ranchi, formalising academic validation of their analytics and AI competencies. The collaboration reflects growing convergence between industry-oriented edtech platforms and established management institutions to address enterprise skill transformation needs.
