BMA 35th Awards Ceremony

Bombay Management Association conferred Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development (WeSchool) with the ‘Outstanding Institute of Management of the Year’ award on its 35th Award Ceremony.

WeSchool is amongst the premium business Schools in India that is constantly trying to go beyond the realm of conventional education. Design thinking and innovation have been the guiding forces, all along.

The Institute has made a niche for itself in the space of management education with its passionate adherence and thrust on experiential learning with that de-silos knowledge, paving way for a barrier free world where the talent is groomed for the best.

With the mission to build a ready to employ managerial talent pool with creative thinking and risk management ability, WeSchool has consistently worked towards delivering quality on par with the outside world and BMA has recognized this timeless contribution.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr R Ramakrishna, President, BMA said, “Education plays a crucial role in a nation’s upliftment and business management is essential for the growth of an economy. India needs educational institutes that impart business management skills which are relevant to today’s dynamic business environment and are determined to make a difference to the society. We are happy to present this award to WeSchool for their instrumental initiatives and projects that have empowered many students to realise their dreams. Prof. Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool, said, “Today, there is a need for futuristic glocal leaders who can lead India towards absolute stature. WeSchool has also been previously honoured with the "BMA Outstanding Institute of Management of the Year Award" by Bombay Management Association in 2010 and 2004.
