Livguard has expanded its retail presence in Jammu & Kashmir with the opening of its first Exclusive Business Outlet in Anantnag, in partnership with new distributor Malik Solar Agency. The outlet is aimed at improving access to the company’s energy storage, solar and power-backup solutions for households,
businesses and other consumers in the region.
The Anantnag outlet will offer Livguard’s Energy Storage Solutions, Smart Lithium Solutions, Solar Solutions, Home Power Backup Systems and batteries for varied applications. The company said the launch marks its entry into the Kashmir market and will enable customers to explore products based on their specific energy and backup requirements.
The expansion comes amid a growing electricity consumer base in Jammu & Kashmir. Citing the Jammu & Kashmir Economic Survey 2025-26, Livguard said the region had 24.59 lakh electricity consumers by November 2025, creating an opportunity for providers of energy-storage and power-backup products.
“As we expand into new markets, our priority is to make dependable and future-ready energy solutions more accessible to consumers. Jammu & Kashmir presents an important opportunity for Livguard, and the launch of our first Exclusive Business Outlet in Anantnag marks an important step in strengthening our presence in the region. Through this outlet, we aim to offer consumers greater choice, easier access and solutions tailored to their evolving power needs, while building stronger relationships with our local partners. This is an important beginning for Livguard, and we look forward to reaching more consumers and markets across Jammu & Kashmir.”
Livguard said the new outlet is part of its wider strategy to strengthen its retail footprint in high-potential markets. Building on the Anantnag launch, the company plans to explore expansion opportunities in other key markets across Kashmir and deepen its regional channel network.
