Borosil Deepens Retail Engagement in Delhi, Mumbai with Chef Harpal
Borosil has strengthened its consumer and retail engagement in Delhi and Mumbai through exclusive market visits featuring celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. As part of the initiative, Chef Harpal visited selected crockery and cookware stores across both cities, interacting with consumers, retailers and
distributors while demonstrating Borosil’s latest kitchen solutions. The engagement focused on Borosil’s gas stoves and stainless-steel cookware ranges. The gas stove portfolio includes 2-, 3- and 4-burner models in stainless-steel and toughened-glass variants, with features including heavy-duty brass burners, sturdy pan supports and ergonomic controls. Its Stainless-Steel Tri-Ply range includes kadhais, frying pans, saucepans, tawas and pressure cookers designed for everyday Indian cooking.
In Delhi, Chef Harpal visited five stores across Tilak Nagar, Dwarka, Alaknanda, Hauz Khas and Vivek Vihar. The Mumbai engagement covered stores in Ghatkopar, Andheri West, Kandivali, Malad and Borivali. The interactions also gave Borosil an opportunity to gather feedback from consumers and retail partners and understand changing preferences and product adoption across the two markets.
Speaking about the initiative, Ms. Barnali Shankar, VP, Marketing, Borosil Ltd., said, “Retailers have always been at the heart of Borosil’s journey. Taking Chef Harpal to our retail partners in Delhi and Mumbai was our way of bringing the brand closer to the people who help us reach millions of Indian households every day. Through these personal interactions, we had the opportunity to listen, engage and create memorable experiences while strengthening our relationships with our retail partners. For us, it was not just about business—it was about building genuine connection, appreciation and love for the Borosil brand.”
Sharing his thoughts on the market visit, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi added, “Borosil has always stood for trust, quality and making everyday cooking a little better. It was a pleasure to meet the retailers across Delhi and Mumbai and experience their world firsthand. These personal interactions made the engagement truly special, giving me an opportunity to exchange stories, share experiences and celebrate the strong bond between Borosil and its retail partners. It was wonderful to see the passion and trust that retailers have for the brand and the role they play in taking Borosil closer to consumers.”
