Raffles Udaipur has received its third consecutive Green Key Certification, reinforcing its environmental responsibility and sustainable-luxury approach. The 21-acre private-island resort on Udai Sagar Lake said the internationally recognised certification acknowledges rigorous standards in environmental
management, conservation, waste reduction, sustainable procurement and community engagement.
The resort has adopted measures including wastewater recycling for landscape irrigation, water-saving fixtures, energy conservation, waste-reduction practices and sustainable purchasing. It has also introduced electric and battery-operated boats, electric transfers and battery-operated golf carts to support cleaner guest mobility, while replacing single-use plastic drinking-water bottles with reusable glass bottles across rooms, dining venues and offices.

Beyond operations, Raffles Udaipur offers nature-focused experiences such as bird watching, trekking, barefoot farming and yoga, allowing guests to engage with the island’s biodiversity and surroundings. The resort said its sustainability programme also includes employee training, awareness initiatives and support for ethical, locally positive practices, as it seeks to preserve its natural setting for future generations.
