A large number of students, who were in a jubilant mood, turned up for the event, which was inaugurated by Professor S Shanthakumar, Director School of Law, and Mr BK Gupta, Director School of Professional
Studies.
Different cultural clubs of the University showcased their programmes and entertained the audience. The day started with a patriotic song presentation by group of school children from an orphanage which was organized by the University’s social club Yukti.
It was followed by a NukkadNatak, presented by Abhimanch , the Drama Club of the University. The other attractions of Fiesta 2014 were photo exhibition by Lumiere (Photography club) and musical performances by Encore (Music club). Students also got the chance to participate in games like musical chairs, tambola, kite flying and Brick Wall Walk, among others.
When the Encore band struck the drums, students enjoyed it to the hilt, tapping to the beat and swaying to the music. The food and refreshments stalls too saw brisk business, as students turned up to get a bite of their favorite dishes.
