realme has officially launched the realme 16 5G in India, targeting young users focused on creativity, photography, and everyday content creation. Unveiled in New Delhi on April 2, 2026, the smartphone

brings segment-leading features including dual 50MP AI portrait cameras, a 7000mAh battery, and a slim “Air Design” form factor, aiming to redefine expectations in the mid-range category.

The device’s standout feature is its Dual 50MP Portrait Camera System, combining a Sony IMX852 rear sensor with a high-resolution front camera for detailed, true-to-life portraits. It also introduces an industry-first rear selfie mirror with Aura Ring Flash, along with gesture controls and voice countdown for easier photography.
