Bonita India Makes to Top 100 SMEs in India

Conquering another milestone in its brief yet eventful journey so far, Casa Brands India Pvt. Ltd has been named among the Top 100 SMEs of India by the India SME Forum for the year 2016, beating stiff competition from thousands of vibrant enterprises from across the country.

Established in 2012, Casa Brands India Pvt. Ltd. has become a
highly recognizable name in the Indian home utility products market and has also established a substantial international presence. The start-up which has single handedly revolutionized the home utility sector in India was named the winner of the Top 100 SME's of INDIA, 2016 Awards.

The awardees were selected from among a whopping 49023 nominations across categories of Growth, Financial Strength, Innovation, International Outlook, Corporate Governance and People capital. The jury of India SME Forum deliberated under the chairmanship of leading adman Prahlad Kakkar.

The awards intend to act as a catalyst for the potential start-ups and the SME sector to become world-class enterprises. The awards also offer a platform to SMEs in India to promote themselves among investors and partners to sustain growth and widen their networks and business opportunities.

We saw a huge scope to cater to this need and we started developing products under Bonita to give an opportunity to the Indian households to experience the innovation, styling and quality available internationally. We also made the products more sturdy which has helped us to win over some international clients also who have seen our products as better quality than even some of the established brands. We are also working to achieve a sound footing as an Indian brand internationally,” said Mr Umang Srivastava, Joint Managing Director, Bonita.

Recently, Bonita Becomes the only Indian brand to sell through US retail giant Bed Bath & Beyond  in North America.
