Indian Students Shine in SAT & TOEFL Olympiad 2025, 20% Score 1400+

The SAT & TOEFL Olympiad concluded its 2025 edition on February 25, 2026, in Chennai, showcasing strong performance by Indian students, with 20% scoring 1400+ and 4% achieving 1500+, highlighting

growing readiness for international undergraduate education pathways.

Over 250 schools across India, including CBSE, ICSE/ISC, IB, IGCSE, Cambridge, State Boards, and home-school networks, participated in the Olympiad. Students gained early exposure to globally recognised assessments, allowing them to benchmark their academic performance and identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Performance outcomes reflected national academic depth, with top scorers from institutions such as DPS Faridabad, Loyola School Trivandrum, Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam, and Srinidhi International School achieving strong results. Regionally, South Indian students demonstrated particularly high performance, while North Indian schools also contributed substantially.

Beyond scores, the Olympiad emphasised learning and guidance. Participants received structured feedback, exposure to test formats, and mentorship-linked scholarship opportunities through partners including ETS, Krea University, Lumiere Education, Makers Asylum, and ROAM, supporting academic growth and informed decision-making.

A DPS Faridabad representative said, “The SAT & TOEFL Olympiad provided our students with a valuable opportunity to experience globally benchmarked assessments in a structured and motivating environment. It helped them gain early clarity on international testing standards, build confidence through real performance feedback, and explore meaningful academic and scholarship-linked opportunities. We value the exposure and enrichment this platform has offered our students.”

The Olympiad will continue as a national academic initiative, with the next edition scheduled for July 2026, aiming to expand participation across previously underrepresented regions.
