event focused on the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, particularly within the BFSI and fintech ecosystem.The roadshow highlighted the growing importance of privacy-first frameworks in digital finance, with discussions centered on consent management, regulatory compliance, and Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA). Industry leaders, including Col Deepak Joshi and Dhruv Suri, along with senior executives from Huey Tech, shared insights on building robust and compliant data protection systems.
A key highlight was the roundtable discussion on “Consent in the Age of Open Banking and Account Aggregators,” where experts explored best practices for managing user consent in an audit-ready manner. The session addressed challenges faced by fintech platforms, digital lenders, and RBI-regulated entities, where data governance plays a critical role.
The event also featured a hands-on workshop on DPIA, offering practical guidance on identifying risks and ensuring compliance during digital product development.
